Professional Background

I completed my therapeutic training (MSc in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy) at St. Vincent’s Hospital and University College Dublin (UCD).
Following this, I undertook a Post-Master’s qualification (Special Modality Training) at The School of Psychotherapy, St. Vincent’s Hospital, where my focus was on exploring “What it is to practice psychoanalytically.”
I have also completed a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapy Studies, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology, a Level 6 qualification in Therapeutic Play Skills, and additional qualifications in Child Psychology.

Before pursuing a therapeutic vocation in psychotherapy, I worked for many years as a qualified accountant in both small and large organisations. This experience has provided me with a unique understanding of the complex dynamics often present within these environments.
My clinical practice is informed by Lacanian psychoanalytic study and grounded in the foundational principles established by Freud. I am an APPI and ICP accredited practitioner and adhere to a strict code of professional ethics, ensuring that every individual engaging in the therapeutic process is treated with respect, care, and confidentiality.
